Soda is not recommended during acute pancreatitis, and the primary treatment during acute pancreatitis is water fasting. For pancreatitis treatment can be divided into mild and severe.
1. Mild: The main treatment is water fasting, followed by gastrointestinal decompression. Intravenous fluids are used to actively replenish blood flow, maintain water-electrolyte and acid-base balance, and maintain caloric supply. For severe pain, pethidine can be used for pain relief.
2. Severe: fasting water-based. If infection occurs, antibiotics can be used for treatment, such as amoxicillin, metronidazole and so on. Nutritional support in parenteral nutrition can be transitioned to enteral nutrition. If tissue necrosis occurs, surgical treatment can be used to remove the necrotic tissue plus external drainage.
Medications should be used as directed by a physician. Acute pancreatitis must go to the hospital in time for diagnosis and treatment.
