What happens when you have triplets?

Women who are pregnant with triplets may conceive naturally, or they may conceive artificially, such as through ovulation or IVF. However, the pregnancy of triplets is usually related to genetic factors, and it is best for pregnant women not to blindly choose ovulation promotion or artificial insemination, but to take into account their actual situation. Because triplets are multiple pregnancies, there are more complications related to pregnancy than singleton pregnancies. Natural conception: 1. Heterozygous triplets: When a woman emits three mature eggs at the same time, three eggs will be combined with three sperms after sex, and three fertilized eggs will emerge, and the three fertilized eggs will develop into three independent individuals. The three fertilized eggs will develop into three separate individuals, resulting in heterozygous triplets, which can be of the same or opposite sex. 2. Identical triplets are rare, because the fetuses are genetically identical, so they have the same sex, and their appearance, blood type, intelligence and even some physical characteristics are extremely similar; 3. Other cases: two eggs are combined with two sperm, forming two different fertilized eggs, one of which splits and becomes an identical twin, and the other is undivided and becomes a double chorionic triamniotic sac triplet. Artificial fertilization: 1) ovulation promotion: ovulation promotion through drugs can make women expel three eggs at the same time, which can increase the chance of conceiving heterozygous triplets; 2) IVF: through IVF, three blastocysts can be implanted at the same time to make women conceive heterozygous triplets.
