Serious adverse reactions have not been reported after use of the drug. Some may cause slight skin discomfort, most of which will disappear or be alleviated spontaneously. Ma Yinglong Musk Hemorrhoid Ointment: belongs to Chinese patent medicine, with the effect of clearing away heat and drying dampness, activating blood circulation and reducing swelling, and removing decay and regenerating muscle. It is suitable for hemorrhoids and anal fissures caused by dampness, heat and stasis, bleeding in the stool, or pain, and a feeling of falling, also used for perianal eczema. The adverse effects of the drug are not clear.4 It is contraindicated in those who are allergic to the product and used with caution in pregnant women.
