What are the shortcomings of autologous fat breast augmentation?

Breast augmentation is popular all over the world, and the research and development of breast implants has also continued to flourish, and the re-approval of silicone implants for clinical cosmetic breast augmentation by the FDA in November 2006 has once again set off a global boom in the use of silicone breast implants. Although existing studies have confirmed that there is no direct causal relationship between silicone implants and breast cancer and allergic diseases, it is an undisputed fact that the application of silicone implants may cause potential safety problems such as implant leakage and envelope twinning, which have not been well resolved until now. The concern about the safety of silicone implants has to a certain extent promoted the development of breast augmentation with the application of own tissues. Autologous fat injection breast augmentation has been around for a long time; the effect of breast augmentation has received mixed reviews from various families. The main disadvantages of autologous fat injection breast augmentation are two: 1, the amount of fat injection is limited for each operation, such as over-injection may lead to partial necrosis of fat and secondary infection; 2, the injected fat is easily wrapped and calcified in the body to form tumor-like fat balls, which affects the breast augmentation effect; in order to circumvent the shortcomings of autologous fat breast augmentation, the author has improved the technology and formed a multi-level separated injection of autologous fat breast augmentation with multi-level separation and injection, and has achieved good clinical results.
