What can cause double eyelids to disappear?

A girl who had her eyelids repaired many times after surgery and always disappeared asked me inside the eyelid bar about the problem of disappearing after eyelid surgery. Many people think that the buried line does not last and the full incision is permanent, which is a misconception. In the clinic, we are able to encounter cases where the buried line is long-lasting, while the incisional method undergoes lightening and disappearance. The disappearance of double eyelids after full incision has a human physique reason, but also the problem of surgical design and operation. First of all, there is the physique, some recover quickly after double eyelid surgery, the eyelid is not very swollen, while some post-operative swelling time is very long, the incision location redness and scar reaction is obvious, the double eyelid fold line adhesion is very tight when the eyes are open. Since double eyelids are formed by relying on this adhesion, the obvious post-operative reaction ensures a long-lasting double eyelid fold line. There is also the issue of method selection. The formation of single eyelids in Chinese people is often caused by the pulling of the inner canthus, and I often encounter double eyelid folds forming immediately when the inner canthus is corrected during surgery. In this case, if you do not correct the inner canthus and simply do double eyelids, the skin tension caused by the inner canthus is not corrected after surgery, which can easily cause the double eyelids to disappear. There is also the problem of double eyelid design, the design is too narrow, the adhesion area is too small, will also occur double eyelid narrowing and shallow, while the design is too wide, it is easier to form adhesions and not easy to occur narrowing. Lastly, the reason why buried stitches are easy to fall off is because double eyelids are formed by relying on the fixation of sutures, and when the sutures are loosened over time, double eyelids tend to disappear and become shallow. The more tissue removed during surgery, the heavier the damage, the more obvious the formation of adhesions, and the more durable the formation of double eyelids. However, excessive adhesions are also harmful, too many adhesions will cause concave and convex incisions, obvious double eyelid surgery marks, and the final formed double eyelid is unnatural. Therefore, in double eyelid surgery, the naturalness of the result and the degree of adhesions are contradictory. A good surgeon will correctly apply the appropriate adhesions to complete the surgery and at the same time will not let the adhesions affect the result of the surgery.
