What is double eyelid repair

According to statistics, blepharoplasty (i.e. double eyelid surgery) is a high percentage of cosmetic surgery and has been the most performed cosmetic procedure in China. What many beauty lovers may not be aware of is that there are not a few cases of failed double eyelid surgery. Also, as time passes, the elasticity of the skin decreases and the shape of the eyelids changes accordingly, such as bloated upper lids, drooping outer corners, triangle-like eyes, and an appearance that is no longer satisfactory. All of these conditions will need to be repaired and corrected with a second surgery. If you are not satisfied with your first blepharoplasty, you should have a second surgery 3 to 6 months later because it takes 3 months to recover from soft tissue surgery, and after that the scar is stabilized and the upper eyelid shape is basically set, so it is a good time to repair it. However, in some cases, such as when there is a strong request from the patient and the surgery is clearly deficient, it may be possible to perform the surgery earlier, and if this is necessary, it is best to buy time and perform it within 6 days of the first surgery before the incision is firmly healed. However, the surgery should be performed with caution and by experienced specialists. Patients who are dissatisfied with the results of their first surgery often have greater expectations for a repeat procedure, but blepharoplasty is a difficult operation and the basis for its performance is poor. . Postoperative Care Issues: After secondary blepharoplasty, the patient should take more care to carefully care for the incision and keep it clean to prevent infection. Avoid contact with alcohol, tobacco and spicy foods to prevent irritating bleeding and delaying wound healing. In the early postoperative period, avoid excessive eye use and reduce the time spent reading, using computer and TV. Surgery itself is an invasive operation, the fewer times the better. It is recommended that seekers carefully choose a regular hospital and a professional doctor to reduce the risk of failure.
