It is often used in the treatment of frequent urination and enuresis in children, as well as diabetes mellitus, neurasthenia, etc., which are caused by deficiency of the heart and kidneys, and lack of communication between water and fire. Lower Jiao Damp-Heat (Dampness and Heat evils invading the intestines, bladder, pubic region, lower limbs, etc.) or frequent urination, enuresis or spermatorrhea and slippery ejaculation caused by phase fire, are not suitable for this formula.
