Recovery time for parastrectomy surgery

Parametrium is a non-degenerated or underdegenerated breast tissue, usually located in the armpit or abdomen, which can affect the aesthetics when it is large and can be surgically removed. However, the recovery time is determined by the patient’s own situation and cannot be generalized. Patients should be examined before surgery, and if the indications allow, surgery can be performed under general anesthesia. If the patient has good postoperative care and no secondary infection, the incision will usually heal in about 1 week and the patient can resume normal activities in 2-3 weeks. However, if infection occurs after surgery, or if the patient has other diseases, such as diabetes, the wound will recover more slowly. Patients are advised to avoid spicy and irritating foods after mastectomy to avoid stimulating the incision and prolonging the recovery time. At the same time, it is necessary to review every six months to a year after surgery in order to detect abnormalities in time for early diagnosis and treatment.
