What happens when a person vomits blood in a good condition?

In general, in the case of vomiting blood, the characteristics of the bleeding volume need to be clarified. If the bleeding volume is relatively small, in the range of 50-100 ml, most of them are characteristics of gastrointestinal bleeding due to the tearing of the mucosa of the cardia fundus. This kind of bleeding is not only less in volume, but also fresher in color, and some of them may have the characteristics of vomiting blood. Secondly, if nausea, vomiting and blood vomiting are accompanied by abdominal pain, there is a possibility of ulcers, especially duodenal bulb ulcers or gastric sinus ulcers, which are bleeding caused by recurrent ulcers over a long period of time, and if the ulcer surface has infiltrated into the submucosa, it may lead to gastrointestinal hemorrhage and erosion of blood vessels, resulting in life-threatening conditions. If the blood spitting is relatively light, there may be mucosal damage; if the bleeding is heavy, it is generally considered to be a case of vascular rupture and possibly ulceration. While waiting for the symptoms of blood vomiting to be relieved, gastroscopy needs to be improved to further clarify the diagnosis.
