How to recognize the symptoms of hemorrhoids

Symptom 1: Bleeding in stool Painless, intermittent bright red blood after stool is its characteristic, and is also a common symptom in the early stage of internal or mixed hemorrhoids. The bleeding usually occurs before or after the stool, and can be simple or mixed with stool. The blood is bright red, and its bleeding is in the form of jets, dripping, or wiping with blood, etc. Symptom 2, pain in the stool bleeding perianal pain phenomenon. Because the perianal nervous system is more developed and sensitive, pain can easily occur after stimulation. Generally manifested as mild pain, stabbing pain, burning pain, swelling pain, etc. Symptom three, rectal cramping Anorectal cramping is mainly a symptom of external hemorrhoids. If the internal hemorrhoid is infected, embedded, or has strangulated necrosis, this can lead to severe cramping pain. In mild cases, there is a feeling of swelling and falling, and in heavy cases, there is heavy falling pain. Symptom four, swelling prolapse Swelling prolapse inside the anus, which is mainly a symptom of middle and late stage internal hemorrhoids. As the nucleus of the internal hemorrhoid grows, the mucosa and submucosa are separated from the anal layer, and when defecating, the internal hemorrhoid nodules can descend below the dentate line, free from the anal canal and prolapse through the anus. In the lighter cases, they will come out of the anus only when defecating, and in the heavier cases, they can come out when coughing, pressing the abdomen, or squatting with force. Symptom 5: Discharge Anal discharge. It mainly overflows from the fistula, but also from the anus, or from the skin around the anus. The rectal mucosa is stimulated by hemorrhoids for a long time, causing an increase in secretions; in late stage internal hemorrhoids, secretions often flow out from the anus because of the relaxation of the anal sphincter. In light cases, it flows out when defecating, and in heavy cases, it flows out naturally even when not defecating. Symptom 6: Anal itching Anal and perianal skin bleeding and itching symptoms. Mainly due to anal secretions, prolapsed hemorrhoid nucleus and surrounding skin is stimulated, the skin is moist all day long, which produces itching, leading to the occurrence of eczema and itching.
