There is no medication for farsightedness and there are medication treatments for amblyopia. Farsightedness can be treated by optical correction and laser surgery, etc. Amblyopia is mainly treated by optical medication and masking treatment. 1. Hyperopia: Parallel rays of light enter the eye and cannot form a clear image on the retina after focusing on the retina. Currently, the symptoms can be improved by wearing glasses, or the curvature of the cornea can be reshaped by laser surgery to correct hyperopia. There is no medication to treat hyperopia. 2. Amblyopia: The best-corrected visual acuity of the eye is lower than that of the corresponding age, but there is no organic lesion in the eye. Currently masking therapy is the most effective method. Amblyopia can also be treated with optical medication, also known as suppression therapy, with atropine being the most commonly used drug. Amblyopia and hyperopia should be treated in a specialized hospital, following the doctor’s instructions and avoiding unauthorized medication or treatment.
