1, China’s statutory radiation diseases: radioactive cataract, internal radiation disease, external radiation subacute radiation disease, external radiation radioactive bone injury, external radiation acute radiation disease, acute uranium poisoning, acute radiation pneumonia, radioactive thyroid disease, radiation punch compound injury, radiation burn compound injury, radioactive proctitis, radioactive gonadal disease, radioactive tumor. Other diagnostic criteria for radiation diseases are being developed one after another. (1) The patient’s unit and/or the radiation protection department concerned must provide the following information and data with the legal representative’s signature: occupational exposure history; occupational health examination results and occupational health file (copy); personal and/or site dose monitoring history; exposure and personal and site dose monitoring results at the time of exposure. (2) Results that can be used as biological dosimeters for the exposed person: such as lymphocyte chromosomal aberration rates, micronucleus rates, and results of blood tests, as well as biological dose data extrapolated therefrom; and results of analysis of biological samples from the exposed person. (3) Detailed clinical manifestations, results of laboratory tests and results of special laboratory tests related to radiation effects. If the above information is not available to the individual patient, it is recommended to obtain it in time with the help of an occupational physician qualified in the diagnosis of radiation diseases and the health supervision department.
