Chest tightness and shortness of breath after swimming

If the patient has symptoms of chest tightness and shortness of breath after swimming, it is considered to be an attack of angina symptoms. Patients are advised not to do too strenuous exercise in the near future, pay more attention to rest, and not to exercise for more than 30 minutes each time. At the same time, it is recommended that the patient can take drugs to prevent the onset of symptoms, such as oral isosorbide mononitrate, metoprolol, aspirin. These drugs can not only prevent the onset of symptoms, but also slow down the progress of the disease. Patients can undergo relevant tests, such as cardiac ultrasound, ambulatory electrocardiogram and chest X-ray. If necessary, coronary CT can also be performed to clarify the severity of the current coronary vascular lesions. Patients may also experience chest tightness and shortness of breath after exercise due to the presence of syndrome X or coronary myocardial bridges.
