Information for Radiotherapy Patients

Information for Radiotherapy Patients Body Position Fixation Before radiotherapy, you need to go to the simulator positioning room for body position fixation mask (body mold). After positioning in the simulator or CT scan, X-rays and radiographs will be taken before radiotherapy, or CT scans will be taken in the CT room before radiotherapy. Please make sure the patient keeps the red line drawn on the treatment area clear. If the red line is blurred, the radiotherapist must be asked to redraw it. Radiotherapy plan design The radiotherapist will issue radiotherapy order and charge prescription to the physiotherapy office. The doctor in charge and the physiotherapist will work together to design and confirm the radiotherapy plan. Confirmation of the first radiotherapy placement The doctor in charge of radiotherapy, the physiotherapist, the technician and the patient will go to the designated machine room together for placement. The placement is scheduled to take place every afternoon. Radiotherapy treatment Every week from Monday to Friday, patients are requested to wait in the designated machine room according to the appointment time, and the technician on duty will give radiotherapy treatment in the order of the appointment time. Because the use of radiotherapy equipment has its own rules, the order of radiotherapy may not be exactly the same as the order of queuing, and the appointment time of radiotherapy is not equal to the actual time of radiotherapy. Please understand that the radiotherapy treatment may be interrupted due to power outage or machine failure.
