How to determine the level of fatty liver

Fatty liver can be divided into 4 levels: 1) simple fatty liver; 2) steatohepatitis; 3) fatty liver fibrosis; 4) fatty cirrhosis, and each level of fatty liver can be determined by auxiliary tests. If the ultrasound suggests fatty liver, no abnormal liver function at this time, that is, there is no inflammatory segment is indicated in simple fatty liver. If it progresses to abnormal liver function, when imaging suggests moderate to severe fatty liver, it means it has progressed to steatohepatitis. If liver function is abnormal and liver elastography is examined, suggesting that liver stiffness has reached the stage of liver fibrosis, then you can consider that you have entered the fatty liver fibrosis stage. If liver elastography suggests that liver hardness has exceeded cirrhosis, this stage indicates that the stage of cirrhosis has been reached, and the various grades of fatty liver can be assessed by liver function and imaging.
