Postmenopausal uterine bleeding should be taken seriously

In the clinic, we often encounter some postmenopausal women with vaginal bleeding, the amount can be more or less, some patients do not pay attention to this, and we even see patients who have been menopausal for 7-8 years and have vaginal bleeding for 1 year, which is finally diagnosed as endometrial cancer, losing the opportunity of early diagnosis and reducing the quality and time of survival. After menopause and uterine bleeding, the first disease to be ruled out is endometrial cancer. Common symptoms of endometrial cancer: 1.Uterine bleeding: Irregular vaginal bleeding before and after menopause is the main symptom of endometrial cancer, often small to moderate amount of bleeding, rarely large amount of bleeding. 2.Vaginal discharge: bloody leucorrhea, odor, even rotten flesh-like tissue is discharged. 3.Pain: mostly occurs in advanced stage. 4.Other: pressure symptoms, lower abdominal swelling, pain, wasting, metastatic symptoms, etc. For postmenopausal women, once the above symptoms appear, they must go to the regular hospital and pay attention to the thickness of the endometrium, blood flow signal, etc. Meanwhile, some patients with health check-ups must pay attention to the thickness of the endometrium, even if there are no obvious clinical symptoms, if there is a suggestion of endometrial thickening, they should be promptly seen. High-risk groups: Patients with obesity, hypertensive disease, and diabetes have a high incidence. Women with long-term use containing high estrogen levels, women with polycystic ovary syndrome, and patients with malignant tumors in the immediate family. And of course, for non-menopausal women with symptoms such as abnormal thickening of the endometrium and irregular vaginal bleeding, watch out! Pay attention to postmenopausal bleeding to protect your health.
