Difference between rosacea and rosacea

Rosacea and rosacea are the same disease with different names, no essential difference. It is a chronic skin lesion that occurs in the middle of the face and is centered on the external nose. The main clinical manifestations are flushing of the skin and erythema, papules, pustules, and dilated capillaries. It occurs in middle-aged people and is more common in women. The cause of the disease is not clear, but may be related to psychological factors, alcoholism, consumption of spicy food, high temperature and cold stimulation, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine disorders and follicular worm mite infection. The pathogenesis may be based on the seborrhea, due to infection and hot and cold stimulation and other factors that cause vasomotor nerve disorders in the face, capillary dilation for a long time and lead to facial erythema, papules, inflammatory reaction and other symptoms. During treatment, it is necessary to cultivate good habits, avoid staying up late, avoid drinking alcohol and greasy, spicy and stimulating food, reduce the intake of sweet food, and avoid too cold or too hot stimulation. If the inflammation is serious, oral doxycycline capsules can be used. B vitamins or retinoids can be used for excessive oil secretion, and the dilated capillaries can be removed by laser. In addition, the end stage of rosacea, i.e. the nasal superfluous stage, needs to be reshaped and removed through surgical operation.
