Pre-excited syndrome surgery recovery time

Preexcitation syndrome takes about a month to recover after surgery. Pre-excitation syndrome is caused by one or more channels between the atria and ventricles that are more than the normal conduction system. After the surgery, the patient’s edema may take about a month to dissipate. After that, the patient needs to go to the hospital for a review, and an electrocardiogram or ambulatory electrocardiogram can be done. If everything is normal and the pre-excitation wave in front of the QRS has completely disappeared, it is considered to be cured. In addition, a small number of patients are likely to have a recurrence after the procedure, in which case the patient will need to undergo a second radiofrequency ablation procedure to treat the problem.
