Is stage 1a endometrioid adenocarcinoma a carcinoma in situ?

Stage 1a (Stage Ia) endometrioid adenocarcinoma is not carcinoma in situ.

Endometrioid adenocarcinoma is a common pathological feature of endometrial cancer and has different stages according to surgical pathology and clinical manifestations. Carcinoma in situ is the early stage of epithelial cell proliferation reaching malignancy, also known as pre-invasive carcinoma and intraepithelial carcinoma.

Stage Ia endometrioid adenocarcinoma is the earliest malignant tumor with cancer staging except carcinoma in situ. Stage Ia endometrioid adenocarcinoma indicates that endometrial cancer is mainly concentrated in the uterine body and the depth of tumor infiltration is less than one-half, which can be completely cured as long as it is actively treated.

The cure rate of stage Ia endometrioid adenocarcinoma is relatively high, and it can usually be cured through surgical treatment. After surgery, there is no need for auxiliary radiotherapy and chemotherapy, as long as regular checkups are conducted. Keep a good mindset, eat more vegetables and fruits, exercise moderately, rest regularly and avoid staying up late.

Carcinoma in situ and stage Ia endometrioid adenocarcinoma can be cured as long as they are treated in time. It is suggested that patients should consult doctor in time and get proper treatment under doctor’s guidance.
