Do you have leukorrhea when you are pregnant?

Pregnancy is associated with leukorrhea and can be characterized by increased leukorrhea as a normal part of pregnancy. Leukorrhea is a mixture of vaginal and cervical mucosal secretions, exfoliated cells, and lactobacilli, which a woman will have whether she is pregnant or not. Normal leukorrhea is white or colorless, in small amounts, and without odor. During pregnancy, due to the influence of the placenta and hormones, vaginal secretions increase more than usual and the amount of leucorrhea naturally increases. As long as the leukorrhea has no odor and is normal in color, it usually does not need much treatment and can be observed regularly. However, if the leucorrhea keeps increasing after pregnancy, accompanied by odor or itching, etc., it suggests that diseases such as vaginitis may occur, and it is recommended to consult an obstetrician as soon as possible. During pregnancy, you should pay attention to personal cleanliness. You can choose to rinse your pubic area with warm water, change and wash your underwear regularly, and choose a loose style to avoid providing a living environment for bacteria.
