What are the possible signs of giant cell tumour of the tendon sheath?

Giant cells of the tendon sheath are more prevalent in the hand and should be considered when there is a painless mass, single or multiple, in the form of a bean-like or nodular elevation on the hand. The size of the mass varies from a few millimetres to several centimetres. The masses are hard to the touch and usually have no significant pressure pain. If any of these abnormalities are present, prompt medical consultation and a definitive diagnosis by a medical professional is recommended.
