The most common symptoms of keratitis are eye pain, photophobia, tearing and blepharospasm, which become eye irritation and can persist until the inflammation subsides.
Keratitis is usually associated with varying degrees of vision loss, which is more pronounced if the lesion is located in the central optical area. In addition to the presence of purulent corneal lesions, septic keratitis is accompanied by a purulent discharge of varying nature on the surface of its infiltrative foci.
