What to do about blurred vision caused by cerebral thrombosis

In clinical practice, if a patient has a cerebral thrombosis causing blurred vision, the above discomfort due to occipital visual cortical centers, caused by cerebral thrombosis, needs to be considered. Once a condition like this occurs, if the patient is within 4.5 hours of onset, if there are no contraindications, the patient is advised to choose alteplase thrombolytic therapy, which can reduce sequelae. If 4.5 hours are missed, but not yet more than 6 hours, patients are advised to choose urokinase thrombolytic therapy. If 6 hours are missed, the only options for later treatment are anti-platelet aggregation therapy with aspirin and lipid-lowering and plaque stabilization therapy with oral statins. At the same time, head and neck CTA should be improved as soon as possible to assess the large intracranial vessels. If there is acute stenosis of the large vessels, endovascular treatment may be required if necessary.
