What medication to take for frontal sinusitis

Frontal sinusitis is mainly an acute and chronic inflammatory disease of the frontal sinuses. Treatment is mainly based on oral antibiotics and topical nasal medication. In case of ineffective medication, surgical treatment is performed. Acute frontal sinusitis is mainly caused by acute purulent inflammation of the frontal sinuses. Patients with acute frontal sinusitis often have symptoms such as pain in the forehead, nasal discharge and nasal congestion. Treatment of acute frontal sinusitis: oral antibiotics, preferably penicillin or cephalosporins, such as amoxicillin, cefuroxime, cefdinir, etc.; oral mucus promoters, such as eucalyptus pinene, are also needed. Chinese medicine can be used, such as nasal abnormalities and orifice granules. Topical nasal spray can be used such as endosulfan nasal spray and trimethoprim nasal spray. If the symptoms of nasal congestion are severe, you can use intranasal decongestants, such as ephedrine nasal drops and furosemide nasal drops. If there is more purulent discharge from the nasal cavity, saline or physiological seawater can be used to rinse the nasal cavity to achieve a clean and moist nasal cavity. Chronic frontal sinusitis is mostly caused by recurrent episodes of acute frontal sinusitis that are not treated in a timely manner, or are not cured. In chronic frontal sinusitis, the above mentioned clinical manifestations will recur and the treatment is basically the same as general sinusitis. In the event that medication does not completely cure the condition, surgery is required to recover. Therefore, for patients with frontal sinusitis, oral antibiotics and local medication are preferred, and if acute frontal sinusitis turns into chronic frontal sinusitis, surgery is required in most cases. (Specific medication, please combine with clinical, to the doctor’s face to face guidance shall prevail)
