The phenomenon of ejaculation is a normal physiological process that does not require much concern. The main reason for this situation is that sperm is produced uninterruptedly, and before having regular sexual life sperm is full of self-ejaculation and will ejaculate or flow out from the urethral orifice at night during sleep state. After having regular sexual intercourse, there exists a normal discharge channel for sperm, and the seminal emission will gradually decrease or even disappear. If the patient has frequent seminal emission, such as several times a night, it belongs to the pathological state, also called pathological seminal emission, which requires detailed examination for clear diagnosis and targeted treatment after determining the cause.
