What is the cause of high HCY?

HCY stands for homocysteine. If homocysteine is elevated, the patient may not eat fresh fruits and vegetables or eat less, especially green leafy vegetables, and always eat foods with high salt, high fat, high cholesterol and high calories, which will indirectly lead to elevated homocysteine. In addition, some patients may have H-type hypertension, that is, patients with high homocysteine and hypertension, and may have high homocysteine. Others may have had a previous stroke, cerebral infarction, or cerebral hemorrhage and may also have elevated homocysteine.
