Is rotator cuff injury serious?

There are serious and non-serious rotator cuff injuries. In severe rotator cuff injuries, the patient will not be able to sleep and cannot lie down, which affects the patient’s life, work and rest, but there are also some rotator cuff injuries that are not very serious. Rotator cuff injuries are divided into degrees I, II and III. If the rotator cuff injury of degree I is detected and treated early, the symptoms may disappear soon if proper treatment is given. If the condition worsens, such as a grade II rotator cuff injury, special treatment such as abduction brace fixation, local physiotherapy or closed-loop injections can be done. If the condition is more severe, the patient’s sleep may be affected and the MRI may show a large rotator cuff tear, making it impossible to lift the shoulder joint.
