Warning: Women with a sweet tooth are more likely to get vaginitis

There are few women who don’t like to eat sweets and snacks, especially at the end of the year when Christmas, New Year’s Day and Chinese New Year are piling up, many women eat a lot of chocolates, candies, cookies and other snacks. This preference for sweets will not only make the body fat, but may also lead to vaginitis, which is not alarming! The latest findings of the World Health Organization show that the most common disease among adult women is not the flu, but reproductive system infections, which is often referred to as gynecological diseases, and to prevent this disease, we must control the intake of sweets. The World Health Organization investigated the causes of death in 23 countries and came to the conclusion that sugar addiction is even more harmful than smoking, and eating sugar-rich foods for a long time will shorten people’s life expectancy, and put forward the slogan “quit sugar”. It has been found that women who eat too much sugar are prone to various diseases, and vaginitis is one of them. Candida vaginitis is caused by two-way bacteria that prefer an acidic environment and are present in the vagina of 30% of pregnant women and 10% to 20% of non-pregnant women, although they only show significant symptoms when their systemic and local vaginal bacterial immunity is reduced. In pregnancy, the sugar content in the vaginal epithelium increases, the vaginal mucosa becomes congested, there is a lot of discharge, and the acidic environment in the vagina is very suitable for the growth of Candida albicans, so pregnant women are more likely to develop Candida vulvovaginitis. In diabetes, the sugar content in the vaginal epithelium is also increased, and the secretions contain sugar, which makes both men and women prone to Candida vulvovaginitis. For middle-aged and elderly people, if vulvovaginal itching occurs repeatedly, you should check urine sugar during morning fasting and check fasting blood sugar to check whether you have diabetes. In addition, when women consume too much sugar, the excess sugar is metabolized through the urethra (urine). Since sugar is acidic, the acid-base environment around the entire urethra changes and breaks the balance. If sugar is frequently consumed in excess, it tends to cause dysbiosis of the vaginal flora and proliferation of Candida, which grow and multiply around the vulva, vagina and urethra, leading to Candida vaginitis. Clinical diagnosis found that many women prone to gynecological diseases have significantly higher than normal blood sugar and urine sugar; 90% of patients had a much lower probability of Candida vaginitis infection and recurrence in a year after reducing their sugar intake. It is easy to deduce that there is a close relationship between sugar intake and Candida infections. In addition to the abuse of antibiotics, the love of sweets is also an important factor. Of course, people who are usually healthy will not endanger their health if they eat more desserts occasionally. As each person’s body condition is different, their metabolic ability also varies. Most vaginitis caused by sugar alone is a mild infection and relatively easy to treat. However, you should not take a chance and consume too much sugar, because an unhealthy diet high in sugar, calories and fat can also lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, breast cancer and many other diseases.
