Will cesarean section scar growth heal on its own?

Whether or not a cesarean incision scar hyperplasia will heal on its own is related to the scar status, individual differences, and recovery time, and should be analyzed on a case-by-case basis. Usually scar growths are divided into pseudoscar growths and true scar growths. Pseudo-scar hyperplasia is soft and does not grow with time, the scar tissue is not flush with the wound site or slightly beyond it, and usually fades and heals on its own after 3-5 years, some women may get better in 1.5-2 years if they have sufficient nutritional intake and good recovery after caesarean section. True scars will grow slowly over time, the scar border exceeds the wound, the texture is hard and will not disappear on its own, eventually it can form keloid, which affects the aesthetics, if the woman is more mindful, she can wait for her body to recover and go to the dermatology department for plastic repair. Women should avoid spicy and stimulating food after caesarean section to avoid stimulating scar growth, and can apply scar removal ointment after the recovery of the incision to prevent scar growth.
