How many times is a tibia fracture reviewed in total

Tibial fractures are usually reviewed 4 times.
The treatment of tibia fracture is divided into conservative treatment and surgical treatment. For tibia fracture using external fixation with plaster, it is to be reviewed 1 time immediately after external fixation with plaster, and 3 times at 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 12 weeks after external fixation with plaster, and usually 4 times.
For tibia fractures treated surgically, the examination should be repeated once after surgery, and 3 times at 6 weeks, 12 weeks, and 6 months after surgery, and usually 4 times as well.
Review after tibia fracture is very important, directly related to the patient’s functional recovery and down time. During the review, the doctor will not only ask the patient’s clinical symptoms and recovery, but also take X-rays of the broken end of the fracture to check the recovery of the fracture.
