HIV in vitro survival requirements

HIV can survive in vitro, but there are certain requirements for physical and chemical factors: physical factors: very sensitive to heat, above 60 ℃ can be killed, but in a dry room temperature environment, its infectivity can last more than 3 days; less sensitive to ultraviolet light, gamma rays.

Chemical factors: very sensitive to chemicals, commonly used bleaching powder, 2% glutaraldehyde solution, 1:1000 formaldehyde solution, 2% chloramine, etc. can kill HIV; alcohol has a good inactivation effect, generally 70% alcohol solution can inactivate HIV after 1 minute.

0.1% hydroxypropionic acid β-propanol, 1:1000 formalin, 50% ethanol, 0.5% trinitrotoluene X-100 can make products containing HIV 1 × 104 ~ 106 infected dose of HIV are inactivated; alcohol and acetic acid mixed solution in equal amounts, treatment for 20 minutes can not find HIV from the cells that have been infected with HIV.
