When is the best time to treat amblyopia?

After the age of 14, the cure rate for amblyopia is only 1% to 2%, and after adulthood, the cure rate is almost zero. If detected before school age and treated correctly in time, amblyopia is generally curable, and the younger the age, the better the outcome. Parents should be prepared for the long treatment time for amblyopia, which generally takes two to three years and up to seven to eight years to cure. In addition, after surgical treatment, you should not completely relax your vigilance, but also adhere to long-term post-operative training for better recovery.
