What is a vegetative disorder?

Vegetative disorders, also known as autonomic disorders, are a group of symptoms that manifest without substantial organ damage. The main cause of this symptom is psychological stress, with most patients suffering from chronic stress, psychological overload, and after anger and mental stimulation.
The clinical manifestations can involve two or more systems, such as the cardiovascular system, respiratory system and digestive system, e.g. patients may experience cardiac neurological symptoms such as chest tightness and breath-holding, as well as symptoms such as sweating and peripheral skin heat.
