What’s wrong with frequent premature beats?

Frequent premature beats may be caused by physiologic and pathologic reasons. 1. Physiological causes Normal adults who are overworked, often stay up late, smoke or drink strong coffee may cause adverse stimulation to the heart, leading to frequent premature beats, which can be improved after proper rest and sleep. 2. Pathological causes (1) Rheumatic heart disease: patients with rheumatic heart disease may have fibrosis and other pathological changes in the myocardial tissue, patients may have frequent premature beats. (2) Anemia: The heart rate of patients with anemia will be faster, and the heart will also have frequent premature beats when it is beating rapidly. (3) Hyperthyroidism:The body of a patient with hyperthyroidism has a higher metabolic rate, which can even cause damage to the heart, again leading to frequent premature beats or tachycardia. If recently there are frequent premature beats phenomenon caused by panic, palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic) and other uncomfortable symptoms, and will continue to aggravate, it is best to seek medical attention in a timely manner for electrocardiography and other auxiliary examinations, to be directed to the cause of the appropriate treatment, in order to slowly return to normal.
