Moles on the head are considered to be pigmented nevi, the etiology of which is still unclear, and may be related to genetic mutations, ultraviolet radiation and so on.
Nevus on the head is caused by benign proliferation of local melanocytes, the etiology of which is still unclear and can be categorized into congenital and acquired. For congenital nevus, it may be related to gene mutation during embryonic development. For acquired nevus, it is considered to be related to ultraviolet radiation in the environment, skin damage, immunosuppression and so on.
Usually, moles on the head are not accompanied by uncomfortable symptoms, but if they affect the aesthetics, they can be treated by laser or surgery if necessary.
It is recommended to strengthen local skin care, use mild shampoo products, and avoid rubbing foreign objects to stimulate the skin on the head.
