To solve the problem of four-month-old babies not drinking bottles, it is recommended to find ways from the following aspects.
1. Check whether the nipple is suitable for babies of that age, and whether the milk drips too fast when pouring, causing discomfort such as choking of the baby.
2. Whether the temperature of the water used to brew the milk powder is too high, causing the baby to scald his throat by drinking milk with too high a water temperature.
3. Every time your baby is hungry for breast milk, try bottle-feeding the milk first, and then switch to breastfeeding if he or she refuses.
4. Stick to bottle-feeding breastmilk every day, and then gradually transition to bottle-feeding milk.
5. After being refused, first pacify the child and try again. If the child is refused three times in a row, treat it as if he/she has already drunk milk once and wait for 5-10 minutes before bottle feeding.
If after repeated attempts to give the child a bottle, are unsuccessful, or even affect the growth and development, it is recommended to take the baby to the regular hospital in time to consult a doctor.
