Some patients have mild and often non-specific early symptoms, including shortness of breath after activity, dyspnoea, cyanosis of the lips, pestle and mortar fingers, dry and wet rales or reduced breath sounds; some patients have recurrent episodes of pneumothorax, celiac disease and haemoptysis as their first symptoms.
