Surgery Notes!

  I. Precautions before surgery: 1) Please do not smoke several days before surgery to reduce bleeding during surgery. Minimize the consumption of alcohol.  2)People with systemic diseases such as hypertension, heart disease and diabetes should tell the doctor when booking the surgery.  3) If you are taking anticoagulant medication, such as aspirin, please tell your doctor regardless of the dose you are taking so that he or she can determine if you can have the surgery. If you do not have to take them, please stop taking such medication for 1 week.  4) Please take a bath the day before the surgery.  5) Please bring the antibacterial ointment (Bactrim) prescribed by the doctor on the day of surgery.  6) Please wear loose clothing on the day of surgery.  7)If there is a lot of hair on the surgery site, please shave it beforehand (especially on the scalp).  8) Do not ride a bicycle to receive the surgery as much as possible to avoid bleeding from the wound caused by strenuous exercise after the surgery.  (9) The current payment is only the basic surgical fee. Additional charges may be required during the operation depending on the specific situation, such as the cost of internal sutures and electrocoagulation.  (2) Precautions after surgery: 1) Please do not do strenuous exercise after surgery, and please try not to ride a bicycle home.  2)Please don’t smoke and please don’t drink alcohol for one week after surgery.  3)Please take the antibiotics prescribed by the doctor on time after the surgery. Check the wound and change the medication every 1 day.  4) To promote good wound healing, please follow the doctor’s instructions to reduce activities in certain positions.  5)Please follow the doctor’s instructions and come for stitch removal on time.  (6) If you have any serious discomfort or complications with the surgical wound, please contact the surgeon promptly.
