Recovery from mixed hemorrhoid surgery is generally divided into three phases: the inflammatory and edematous phase, the proliferative phase, and the healing phase. There is no such thing as four stages. 1. Inflammatory edema period: 2 to 7 days after mixed hemorrhoid surgery, the incision will appear obvious inflammatory edema. At this stage, the incision may have severe pain and is prone to infection. Therefore, it is recommended that the incision be sterilized and changed every day during this stage to avoid infection. 2. Hyperplasia stage: Generally one week after the operation, it enters into the hyperplasia stage. In this stage, the granulation tissue of the incision begins to proliferate, and the pain and edema will be relieved. 3. Healing phase: At this stage, the epithelial tissue of the incision begins to grow, covering the granulation tissue, and the skin gradually heals. Mostly 3-4 weeks after surgery, almost no pain. During the recovery period of mixed hemorrhoid surgery, pay attention to a light and easily digestible diet, do not eat spicy and stimulating food. At the same time, avoid strenuous exercise, so as not to cause the incision to tear. Pay attention to the protection of the incision, avoid infection, and go to the hospital in time if you feel unwell.
