The differences between breast fibroadenoma and breast nodule are mainly in clinical performance, treatment and prognosis, as follows: 1. Clinical performance: breast fibroadenoma usually appears as a single or multiple lumps with clear borders, good mobility and hard texture, while breast nodule is caused by cystic hyperplasia or other breast tumor diseases, the borders are not very clear and the texture is usually soft or tough; 2. Breast fibroadenoma must be surgically removed, while breast nodules can be regularly reviewed and closely followed by ultrasound grading below grade 4, and above grade 4 usually requires further cytocentesis to clarify the diagnosis and exclude the possibility of malignancy; 3. Prognosis: Breast fibroadenoma is a benign tumor, and local excision can achieve the purpose of cure. If a breast nodule is a cystic hyperplasia, surgery is usually not necessary. If the breast nodule is graded above grade 4, it is confirmed to have the possibility of malignant transformation, and usually requires radical mastectomy treatment, as well as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or even biological treatment in combination with postoperative pathology, and the patient’s prognosis usually depends on its pathological stage.
