Usual precautions for patients with uterine fibroids

  (1) Prevent excessive fatigue, especially during menstruation must pay attention to rest. (2) Eat more vegetables and fruits, and less spicy food. (3) Keep your vulva clean and dry, and your underwear should be wide. If there is excessive leukorrhea, you should pay attention to flush the vulva at any time. (4) After being diagnosed with uterine fibroids, you should go to the hospital for regular checkups. If the fibroid increases slowly or has not increased in size, it can be re-examined once every six months; if it increases significantly, surgery should be considered to avoid serious bleeding or compression of abdominal organs. (5) Avoid getting pregnant again. Women with uterine fibroids have poor uterine recovery after abortion, which often causes prolonged bleeding or chronic genital inflammation. (6) If the menstrual flow is excessive, eat more iron-rich foods to prevent iron deficiency anemia. (7) Do not take extra estrogen, especially after menopause, to avoid the growth of fibroids. (8) For those who need to preserve fertility and must be treated surgically, ultrasound ablation therapy or hysteroscopy or laparoscopy can be used.
