Winter clothes that don’t breathe can also cause vaginitis!

Going to the hospital for gynecological exams is like a “family affair”! Why are women’s private parts so sensitive? Most women suffer from vaginitis because of these reasons!
  1. Acidic environment
Usually, there are a lot of lactobacilli in the vagina, which break down glycogen to produce lactic acid, making the vagina an acidic environment, which is not conducive to the growth of harmful bacteria, but when the local resistance decreases, some germs and pathogens can take advantage of it. This is a common cause of induced vaginitis.
  2. Mutual pollution
The vaginal opening is close to the urethra and anus, which are contaminated by urine and feces and can easily breed germs.
  3. Poor ventilation
The skin of women’s private parts is very delicate, rich in sweat glands and folds, hidden but not exposed, poorly ventilated, and most likely to be attacked by germs.
  4.Not concealed
The female genitalia and abdominal cavity are connected to the outside world, which is unique to the female genitalia, and germs can enter the uterus from the vagina. This is one of the more common causes of induced vaginitis.
  5. Humid environment
Due to menstruation and pregnancy, the cervix is immersed in irritating secretions for a long time and the epithelium is shed, which can easily lead to infection caused by the folds of the endocervical lining and a variety of pathogens lurking in the glands.
Symptoms of five types of vaginitis
  1. Non-specific vaginitis
Symptoms: Vaginal cramping and burning, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general malaise. The vaginal discharge is increased, purulent and plasma, with a foul odor. As the discharge irritates the urethra, it can cause frequent, urgent and painful urination.
Hazards: It may cause vaginal adhesions, pus accumulation in the vagina or pus accumulation in the uterine cavity, pelvic inflammatory disease, premature rupture of fetal membranes and chorioamnionitis, etc.
  2.Trichomonas vaginitis
Symptoms: Increased leucorrhea, milky white or yellow, sometimes purulent leucorrhea, often frothy, smelly, bloody leucorrhea in severe cases, painful urination, frequent urination, hematuria.
Hazards: It can be complicated by trichomonas urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis. Since trichomonas can swallow sperm, it can cause infertility and affect sex life.
  3.Mycotic vaginitis
Symptoms: itching of vulva, burning pain in vulva and vagina, increased leucorrhea in the form of bean curd, sometimes accompanied by frequent urination, urinary frequency, painful urination, painful intercourse. During gynecological examination, white membranous material can be seen attached to the inner labia minora and vaginal mucosa, which can be wiped away to reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface.
Hazards: It is not easy to cure, easy to recur and causes premature birth and fetal infection malformation.
  4.Age-related vaginitis
Symptoms: increased leucorrhea, yellow, watery, purulent in severe cases, smelly, sometimes bloody or with spotting bleeding, itching or burning sensation in the vulva, lower abdominal swelling, frequent, urgent and painful urination when the urethra is affected.
Hazards: It can cause vaginal adhesions, pus accumulation in the vagina or pus accumulation in the uterine cavity.
  5.Bacterial vaginitis
Symptoms: Increased leucorrhea, grayish white, thin and foamy. The vaginal mucosa is congested and bleeding spots are seen scattered. The vulva is itchy and has a burning sensation, and the pubic area is foul-smelling.
Hazards: Induces genital infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, perinephritis, painful intercourse, etc.
