Should I see an ENT or a respiratory doctor for a foreign body in my throat?

A foreign body sensation in the throat should be considered first and foremost in the ENT department, but is by no means limited to this type of department.
If accompanied by hypothyroidism or diabetes mellitus, a visit to an endocrinologist should be made.
If accompanied by symptoms of upper gastrointestinal disorders, a visit to a gastroenterology department should be made.
Cardiology if accompanied by hypertensive heart disease
If all organic disorders are ruled out and functional disorders are considered, a psychiatric consultation should be sought.
