There are two types of premature cardiac events: functional premature cardiac events and organic premature cardiac events. There are four types of drugs used to treat premature cardiac events: 1) membrane stabilizers, such as cardioplegia; 2) beta-blockers, such as betalactam; 3) drugs that prolong the action potential, such as amiodarone; and 4) calcium channel antagonists, such as verapamil. The efficacy of the drugs for the treatment of premature heartbeat needs to be based on the patient’s condition and individual adaptability to choose different types of premature heartbeat drugs for treatment, so it cannot be simply stated which drug treatment is the most effective, as long as it can control the condition and cause fewer drug side effects is the best effect. For patients with severe premature cardiac tachycardia, radiofrequency ablation therapy is required if drug therapy is not effective.
