What is amblyopia?

  I. Definition: Amblyopia is caused by functional factors without obvious organic lesions, and the distance visual acuity is less than or equal to 0.8 and cannot be corrected. Mild: corrected visual acuity 0.8-0.6 2. Moderate: corrected visual acuity 0.5-0.2 3. 6.0D, astigmatism greater than or equal to 2.0D 4. Formal deprivation: caused by refractive interstitial clouding, ptosis obscuring the pupil, and inappropriate masking during infancy and early childhood. The early treatment of amblyopia should be treated as early as possible, early treatment can generally restore vision, but if more than 12 years old is generally difficult to cure, so it is recommended that early treatment should adhere to treatment. Treatment is mainly based on the correction of refractive error to cover the key eye, forced use of amblyopic eye treatment, and can be combined with the use of other auxiliary training means related to amblyopia, such as posterior image therapy, red filter method, light brush therapy, etc.
