Macular eye disease is “macular degeneration”. There are several kinds of macular fissures: 1, macular fissures: defects of the retinal neuroepithelium in the macula, mostly occurring in the central macular recess. Common causes include trauma (such as laser shooting into the eye causing macular area burns), inflammation, and high myopia. Vision loss is more obvious, accompanied by dark spots in the center of the visual field. 2. Macular pre-macular: the translucent fibrous membrane in the macula. Pre-macular membrane can be idiopathic or secondary to other intraocular abnormalities. The cause of idiopathic macular anterior membrane is unknown, probably related to posterior vitreous detachment; secondary macular anterior membrane is related to ocular trauma, eye surgery and other factors. The symptoms of visual distortion are most obvious. 3, central plasma chorioretinopathy: referred to as “central plasma disease”, refers to the macular area due to the impaired pigment epithelial barrier function, the fluid into the neuroepithelial detachment caused by the neuroepithelial. Most of the patients are young and middle-aged men, and the age of onset is 20 to 45 years old, the main manifestation is the loss of vision and shrinkage of visual objects. However, it is easy to recur and may lead to irreversible damage of visual function after repeatedly. 4.Age-related macular degeneration: It is a degenerative disease in the macular region, with increasing incidence and prevalence with age, and is an important cause of low vision and blindness in people over 50 years old at home and abroad. Its etiology is unclear and may be related to chronic light damage, genetics, smoking, cardiovascular disease, diet and other risk factors.
