How long does it usually take for a red scar to fade?

Red scars are usually completely stable in about 2 years and basically difficult to fade on their own. Through symptomatic treatment, they can usually enter the fading phase in about 1-2 years and finally return to normal skin color. Red scars are red hyperplastic scars that protrude from the skin surface and may have uncomfortable symptoms such as itching and pain. Red scars protrude from the skin surface due to hyperplasia and generally do not fade on their own, and require regular anti-scar treatment to achieve partial or complete fading of the scar. The red scars that enter the fading period are usually referred to as red marks, with facial acne marks being the most common. Facial acne marks can generally enter the fading phase within 1-2 years after formation, and the color can gradually fade until it completely returns to normal, and the whole process takes several years. In addition, patients who have scars and acne marks should try to avoid the use of irritating drugs to avoid aggravating the condition.
