Is glossy moss contagious?

The disease is a chronic inflammatory skin damage, the cause of which is still unclear and may be related to infection. It has previously been suggested that it may be associated with tuberculosis, but studies have confirmed that the disease is not caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
It has also been reported that glossy moss may be an isoform of lichen planus, or an allergen causing a cell-mediated immune response, and is not infectious.
