What’s wrong with dry and cracked foreskin

Dry foreskin cracking is a lesion of the foreskin skin. Dry foreskin cracking is often accompanied by glansitis and is prone to occur in cases of inattention to cleaning, dryness or frequent sexual intercourse. Patients with long foreskin or circumcision are prone to this. The dry fissure of the foreskin itself is relatively easy to heal. The foreskin fissure will gradually heal while the glans penis is under control, but of course, if you don’t pay attention to hygiene and repeatedly have glans penis, it will be more difficult to heal the dry fissured foreskin or it will recur. Dry foreskin cracking may also occur when the skin contracture caused by the lack of foreskin extension is prone to cracking in the case of erection or frequent sexual impulses. For now, circumcision is often recommended for dry foreskin cracking after the pathogenic infection is actively controlled and the glans penis has improved. But in the case of uncontrolled inflammation, it is still recommended not to do circumcision first, which can easily cause post-operative wound infection, non-healing and other situations. In summary, the foreskin dry crack is a foreskin skin lesion, often due to the foreskin too long or circumcision, repeated foreskin glansitis, or foreskin extension is not enough, frequent sexual impulses after the formation of the tear. It is recommended to actively control the infection and perform circumcision.
