How long does it take for ringworm to heal on its own?

Tinea cruris is a common allergic skin disease that occurs in newborns between 2 and 3 months of age and gradually improves on its own after the age of 1 year, usually after removal of the allergen. If the symptoms are mild, no medication is usually needed. For formula-fed babies, the mother should eat less spicy, stimulating, and greasy food and drink more water to improve the milk. However, if the symptoms are more severe, it is necessary to promptly go to the pediatrician of the hospital for examination and treatment, and use vitamin B6 ointment and zinc oxide ointment topically as prescribed by the doctor to reduce the local inflammatory reaction. If the rash has broken down, cold wet compresses of boric acid solution can be used, along with oral treatment with multivitamins and Benadryl syrup to promote symptom relief. If the child has added complementary foods, avoid giving the child foods that are too greasy, spicy, stimulating or allergenic, such as mango, pineapple, peanuts and seafood, etc. Do not feed the child excessive food, and take an easily digestible diet as the best.
